Rage Requirements Revealed

Bethesda has unconcealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version of Rage.

Rage, the new shooter from id Software system and Bethesda, is less than a month away from firing in Magnetic north America and that means that IT's about sentence we got around to discussing the organization requirements for the PC version of the game. Non rightful because IT's the kind of thing shooter fans need to know, but because information technology's an I.D. game, which substance that IT's probably going to take some serious iron to run it at even mid-pasture modality settings. Soh let's get to IT.

Minimum Scheme Requirements:

OS: Win XP SP3, Prospect, Pull ahead 7
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo or Equivalent AMD
Memory: 2GB
Hard Saucer Blank space: 25GB
Video Card: GeForce 8800, Radeon HD 4200

Recommended System Requirements:

Operating system: Win XP SP3, Vista, Win 7
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad or Equal AMD
Storage: 4GB
Hard Disc space: 25GB
Video Card: GeForce 9800 GTX, ATI Radeon HD 5550

The minimum specification is about what you'd expect but does anyone else think that the recommend requirements look a tad low? Quad-nub CPU and 4 GB of RAM aren't much on the far side baseline these days and a 25 GB install is husky but hardly a dish out-breaker in the earned run average of terabyte hard drives, but it's the video card that really surprises me. The 9800 series of GeForce cards have been kicking around for three old age, patc the HD 5550 is a seriously sub-$100 card. These are really the "advisable" hardware for id's latest and superlative?

Storm comes out in Northwestern America on October 4 for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
